Six months after the destruction of the B.S.L. Station in Metroid Fusion, Samus finds herself a fugitive from the Galactic Federation. While attempting to stay out of sight, her ship picks up a signal from SR-817, the sister planet of SR-388. This signal is originating from the B.S.L. Station's black box. With it, Samus will be able to prove her innocence and the dangers of the X parasite.
